The online is quick and easy to get into with no lagg(i was amazed) even with 12 player battles/races love the way the miis come up and show u who your playing against and from what country.
So far it the fastest online racer to get into a match no searching for rooms(Forza2) or long loading times with lagg ridden games topped off with wall grinding/bumping cheating(GT5p.)
I guess most of you are narrow minded and dont have a wii but came into bash it as its tearing...

Alot of people on this site really are pathetic.
Both got reported in 5-10 minutes by 20+ people. I now look at the website and this news about ps3 bundle being sold out at play.com. Not to mention other articles like Gta4 driving Ps3 sales.
I even got messages telling me why it not "news" how ironic. I wonder where all those reporters are now and why they have not reported this among other articles about bestbuy,amazon,play etc etc etc etc etc.

"I have played Gta4 360 version/Ps3 version for 2-3 hrs each. My 360 version and my friends Ps3 version.
The only pop up i have seen while driving which occurs on both versions is trees in the distance looking solid but becoming more detailed as you get closer. You can only see this if your are looking into the distance and not the road your actually driving on. I guess when your in a chopper in the air there is more enviroment to proce...
But when it comes to the ps3 im still not sure its the promise land that some here claim. I so far have not had a good enough reason to purchase it.
Im still not sure whether Br is good for gaming. I have so far seen nothing that would make me sell my 360 and play beyond.
If the architecture of the ps3 was different and hd dvd(faster read times) were used instead and the memory was increased we would of seen games eclipsing the 360 even now?

It was straddled between arcade/realism but it was challenging(hard to master) and extremly fun. As for no weight granted they did not take a year to slow down but they did have a sense of weight.
Read the interview to get an idea what the developers are going for. I guess if realism is solely what matters to you then there are other games that cater to that alot better.

If it does manage to have a driving model that balances realism with fun
along with the 20players online races, full damage, 40,000 spectator capacity in race tracks,sense of speed, day night cycles,full damage, drifitng and full on racing this could be very special.
This for me is what i want from a racer. Atmosphere,excitment,skill,fun online and offline. Like realism but not at the exspense of fun.

The most ive played a FF since completing 7. 12 the mechanics were good but the story was imo all over the place and not compelling.
P.S if you like traditional jrpgs i thoughly reccomend Lost odyessy old school but a great game and the story (especially the dreams)is compelling.

Don't get me wrong i love a good jrpg its just that as we both said since the rise of the wrpg and the constant recycling in the jrpg they dont do it for me like they used to.
FF13 looks incredible but so did GT5p which i was closed to getting a ps3 for to play though. I then played it at a friends and realised that ai was still poor, the online and penalty system were broken and cheating was rife in online and time trials.

Played thought the whole of ff7 and then since then have played though each ff less and less. FF 12 was great the way it brought in free combat but i still didn't get to far with it.

All that ive written are from what ive seen/played first hand. I never said pop in does not exist i said it is minimal on both versions and when driving(all i have exp so far) this pop in can only be seen in the distance if your looking for it.

Like you said he trys to use it as way to complain about the 360 from a supposedly informed perspective. You will ocassionally get comments like the one above that seem pretty normal but 9 times out of 10 its Sony fanboy fud. Guess hes got to make a few posts to make the sharad believable.

and can say the game does look like that on my Hd screen. Halo is a pretty game and has open enviroments with alot of friendlies/enemies on screen and is played a t a fast pace hence it being downgraded in res like Gta4. Those that hate on halo's graphics mostly are those that have never played the game.......
As for Gta4 i firstly remember Ign giving pes 2008 a high score when other mags slated it for its broken online mode and buggy physics model not to mention hopeless keepers...
Can't wait till we get brawl over here in the uk. Then the Ps3 will be the only console that does not have a new online fighting game for this generation. The ps3 Vf5 with no online was a disgrace.
